Our School — History
Since its founding in 1925, Saint Barnabas High School has educated women
for the future.
Accredited by the University of the State of New York and by the Middle
States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, St. Barnabas High
School occupies safe, modern buildings in the Woodlawn section of the
Bronx.
From the beginning, the school has been staffed by the Sisters of Charity of Mt. St. Vincent, New York. Today, the Sisters of Charity, religious of other congregations, and lay faculty provide for the educational needs of students who come from many areas in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Westchester.
